Betsy FrazierBetsy Frazier - Betsy lives in Hood River, Oregon, and enjoys playing with the Gorge Winds Flute Choir and the Gorge Winds Concert Band. Betsy and her family love living in the Columbia Gorge Scenic Area and while not playing the flute or working, she can be found hiking, backpacking, windsurfing, or mountain biking.


Barb ThrasherBarb Thrasher - "Music--Music has been my avocation all of my life. It may have come and gone over the years. But I cannot imagine ever being without it for any length of time. It has always returned and now is here to stay, affording me much pleasure. I hope those of you seeing and hearing me make music will experience some of that pleasure."


 
Laryssa RetzlaffLaryssa Retzlaff - Laryssa is a senior inGoldendale, Washington and is involved in many school and sport activities. She plays flute, piccolo, electric guitar and piano. Laryssa has participated in solo ensemble competition in Ellensburg, Washington and has received excellent ratings.

Robin Garrett - Robin lives in The Dalles, Oregon. She learned to play the flute in The Dalles Homeschool Band. Later she went on to join the Gorge Winds Concert Band and has been playing with the flute choir since the Spring of 2005. Robin greatly enjoys the challenge and fun of participating in these groups.

 


Glee LarsonGlee Larsen - Glee lives and attends high school in Stevenson, Washington. She has played the flute for four years and contributes her enjoyment and enthusiasm to her band director, Mark McCormick. Glee also plays in small ensembles and in the high school pep band. In her spare time, Glee enjoys playing softball, doing community service projects, and being involved in ASB at Stevenson High School.

Terra KirbyTerra Kirby lives in The Dalles, Oregon. She recently joined the Gorge Winds Flute Choir and enjoys a wide variety of music. Terra is married and has three children.

Nicole BecerraNicole Becerra lives in Goldendale, Washington. On the urging of her piano teacher Nicole decided to play the flute. Ever since then her life has never been the same. Between the piano and the flute she is always extremely busy and hardly has time for much else. Nicole is currently playing the flute in band at the Goldendale High School and is taking piano lessons in Hood River, Oregon. She also plays the flute and the piano at church. Music is a big part of Nicole's life but it is only fourth. God is first, then her family, then her schoolwork and then music.
